Projects

Here at Mystic we love open source software (OSS) and contribute back to the community whenever we can. One of the latest ones was our Holiday 2025 game we wrote and released in December with repo available here. Mystic Robots was another game we wrote back in April 2020 and just had a bit of a reboot and code can be reviewed on GitHub. On a lark since Andrew has young ones we wrote a little Rust-based app called Words with Toddlers which you have to try, it’s great fun.

AI Tools

More coming online very soon but we have at least one Claude skill that we’ve reviewed and are proud to put our name on in Mystic Random Claude Skills. Another is our Freshbooks Tools which can be used as a Claude skill!

Obsidian Plugins

We’ve got 4 of them written and are larger than life fans of Obsidian. Here’s a list for you and we do hope you’ll check them out, 3 of the 4 are available in Obsidian community plugins:

  • Voicenotes Sync - Written when Voicenotes.com came out and a huge fan of the service and bought lifetime passes for several folks. The Voicenotes team has a community extensions setup now and first-class API support and have taken over ongoing support.

  • Obsidian Word Sprint - Written for NanoWriMo several years ago it’s a sprint timer to keep you on track during writing sessions.

  • Obsidian Oura Plugin - Written to dump data from the Oura ring that we had for years. Battery died on us and the company was only willing to knock off like $20 on retail so decided against renewing. Plugin still works great.

  • Obsidian Crypto Lookup - Unfortunately the API we had used for looking up real-time prices is gone and have long since cared about crypto prices.

Raycast Extensions

Just thought this one up on a whim, and built it out a few weeks ago. We love TaskNotes over here, and Raycast and of course Obsidian so we thought we’d marry them all and make happy extensiony goodness with the Tasknotes Raycast Extension (coming to Raycast store near you soon).

Oldies but Goodies

We wrote a digital version of a Clean Sweep set of questions available online at Clean Sweep and code here.

Deprecated

Mystic Paste was a website written with Apache Wicket and used for years and years. You can still find Andrew on IRC though, if you have a client we’re on Libera.Chat.

Here at Mystic we LOVE open source and look here for more always coming soon.
